ii.

Who supervision is for.

Supervision with me may be a good fit if any of the following sounds like where you are, or where you’re heading.

  1. A therapist in private practice.

Wanting specialist clinical support to sustain trauma work over the long term.

  2. A practitioner in a community, specialist or health setting.

Seeking external supervision separate from line management.

  3. A social worker working toward AMHSW accreditation.

Looking for a supervisor whose practice meets AASW standards.

  4. A clinician wanting to develop new skills.

Trauma therapy, family violence practice, or working with parents and infants.

About Rebecca.

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and trauma therapist with extensive experience working with adults and families affected by complex trauma, family violence, and sexual violence.

My therapeutic training includes EMDR basic trainings, additional advanced EMDR trainings, Narrative Therapy, Trauma Focused-CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, Polyvagal theory, DBT, ACT, and infant and perinatal mental health. I am trained in the Safe & Together Model for family violence, and a trained and experienced facilitator of Circle of Security.

I have worked across private practice and specialist sexual assault and family violence counselling settings, providing clinical supervision, case consultation, and clinical oversight to multidisciplinary teams.

Supervision, at its best, is the place where the work is allowed to breathe.

I’m deeply committed to supporting practitioners to build confidence, sustain themselves in challenging work, and develop genuinely skilled, trauma‑informed practice.

iv.

How a session works.

i.Frequency

Monthly is the standard cadence, unless a case calls for more frequent contact.

ii.Length

Sixty minutes. AMHSW accreditation supervision can extend to ninety where structure or paperwork warrants it.

iii.Shape

You bring the agenda. We work with what you bring, a case, a stuck point, a feeling about the work, and the frameworks meet that, not the other way around.

iv.Between sessions

Brief email contact for urgent practice questions is welcome. Anything that needs more than a paragraph belongs in a session.
